  • How many stations are there in the OSCE?

    There are 10 stations in the OSCE. Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation (APIE) stations make up 4 stations which are related to a scenario, 4 stations are clinical skills from the pool of testable clinical skills grouped in 2 sets of paired skills that are related. The last 2 stations are silent written stations that test the professional values and behaviour of the nurse and the ability of the candidate to critically analyse a research article and relate the findings to patient care.
